RefWorks Update: Importing IEEE Xplore selections into RefWorks just got easier!Instructions:- Search IEEE Xplore
- Check mark the references to export
- Click view selected items
- Choose citation or citation and abstract
- Select RefWorks
- (RefWorks will open a new tab or window) Login to your RefWorks account
- Your references are automatically loaded

RefWorks Update: A colleague of mine shared updated instructions for importing Library Catalog selections into RefWorks.- Mark records by using the check boxes in the list of results.
- Store checked records, then click on View Saved Records.
- Click on Export Saved Records.
- Under Format of List, choose Full Record.
- Under Send List To, choose Local Disk and click Submit.
- Open RefWorks.
- In the References menu, click on IMPORT.
- Use Import Filter/Data Source labeled Innovate Interfaces INNOPAC.
- Use Database OhioLINK Library Catalog (Full Display).
- Browse for the test file you saved in step 5.
- Click IMPORT.
RefWorks Tip for ISI Web of Knowledge.
The RefWorks notes field can hold a paper's cited reference list.
While using ISI Web of Knowledge:- Method A - Search results or Record view
- use right-side menu bar
- select FULL RECORD + CITED REFERENCES from the drop down menu
- skip to Export
- Method B - View Marked List
- check CITED REFERENCES in field menu
- skip to Export
- click on Export-to-Reference-Software
- save the uml_view.cgi file to disk
Start RefWorks- choose References | Import
- set import filter = ISI
- set database = Web of Knowledge
- Browse for file: uml_view.cgi
- Import
The reference list will display in the notes field when you view or edit a record.
