SPIE is the international society for optics and photonics which was founded in 1955 to advance light-based technologies.

Using funds provided through the collection of the Student Technology Fee, College of Engineering and Computer Science students who have paid the fee can now install Matlab on their personally owned computers at no cost. This is the full version of Matlab, not a “student version.”
