JACC Cardiovascular Imaging - now available to WSU faculty staff and students in the Electronic Journal Center.

Published by Elsevier. Description by the editorial staff: JACC Cardiovascular Imaging will take a broad, balanced view of all aspects of cardiovascular imaging. The journal will publish original clinical research articles employing noninvasive and invasive imaging techniques including echocardiography, CT, CMR, nuclear, optical imaging, and cine-angiography. Advances in basic science and molecular imaging that are likely to substantially influence the clinical practice of medicine in the next decade (in diagnostic performance, understanding of the pathogenetic basis of the disease, and therapy) will be especially welcomed. Other content will emphasize imaging for the practicing cardiologist, advocacy and practice management issues, and state-of-the-art reviews.

WSU and OhioLINK have purchased 2006 and 2007 Springer eBooks. We will be loading the books into a new electronic book center in upcoming months.

WSU faculty, staff, and students can use Springer eBooks now, temporarily, directly from SpringerLink: http://www.springerlink.com/

• Choose .pdf while viewing a list of search results.
• Choose Open: Entire document while reading a chapter abstract.

Choose the book [title] to unify the chapters in one search result list; emulate Table Of Content results for the printed work.

A SpringerLink search will mix journal content we own, journal content we don't own, book chapters we've bought, and those we haven't.

Indicates full-text pre-paid access. (Green is good; no green means no go) If you find something you need dated 2005 or earlier, consult the OhioLINK Catalog to see if a copy is available.

Use the Encyclopedia of Human Computer Interaction to get quick perspectives on many topics within the field of human computer interaction (HCI) such as concepts, design, usability, evaluation, innovations, and applications of HCI in organizations. Scirus is a search engine for scientists and engineers. Results include journals, preferred websites, and other websites. The preferred web sites have been analyzed. Preferred websites are more highly relevant to professional or academic audiences.

Customize Scirus:create internal links to WSU full-text material - visit search preferences. Choose OhioLINK.

Scirus provides the ability to export or e-mail tagged search results.

RefWorks Update: A colleague of mine shared updated instructions for importing Library Catalog selections into RefWorks.

1. Mark records by using the check boxes in the list of results.
2. Store checked records, then click on View Saved Records.
3. Click on Export Saved Records.
4. Under Format of List, choose Full Record.
5. Under Send List To, choose Local Disk and click Submit.
6. Open RefWorks.
7. In the References menu, click on IMPORT.
8. Use Import Filter/Data Source labeled Innovate Interfaces INNOPAC.
9. Use Database OhioLINK Library Catalog (Full Display).
10. Browse for the test file you saved in step 5.
11. Click IMPORT.
