Springer-Verlag recently celebrated the 5000th volume of the Lecture Note in Computer Science (LNCS) series. WSU members should look for LNCS volumes two ways.

JACC Cardiovascular Imaging will take a broad, balanced view of all aspects of cardiovascular imaging. The journal will publish original clinical research articles employing noninvasive and invasive imaging techniques including echocardiography, CT, CMR, nuclear, optical imaging, and cine-angiography. Advances in basic science and molecular imaging that are likely to substantially influence the clinical practice of medicine in the next decade (in diagnostic performance, understanding of the pathogenetic basis of the disease, and therapy) will be especially welcomed. Other content will emphasize imaging for the practicing cardiologist, advocacy and practice management issues, and state-of-the-art reviews.

WSU faculty, staff, and students can use Springer eBooks now, temporarily, directly from SpringerLink:

Choose the book [title] to unify the chapters in one search result list; emulate Table Of Content results for the printed work.

RefWorks Update: A colleague of mine shared updated instructions for importing Library Catalog selections into RefWorks.
  1. Mark records by using the check boxes in the list of results.
  2. Store checked records, then click on View Saved Records.
  3. Click on Export Saved Records.
  4. Under Format of List, choose Full Record.
  5. Under Send List To, choose Local Disk and click Submit.
  6. Open RefWorks.
  7. In the References menu, click on IMPORT.
  8. Use Import Filter/Data Source labeled Innovate Interfaces INNOPAC.
  9. Use Database OhioLINK Library Catalog (Full Display).
  10. Browse for the test file you saved in step 5.
  11. Click IMPORT.
